What data we process

• Data you send us with the quotation request and contact forms: name, company, email address, phone number, country, your message and, for quotations, the products and quantities you selected.
• Technical data: like any website, the web server records the requests it receives (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). To limit abuse of the forms, a pseudonymised code derived from the IP address is kept for 24 hours.
• Statistics: data on how the website is used, collected with Google Analytics 4 as described below.

The website does not have customer accounts and does not use profiling or advertising tools.

Purposes and legal basis

• To reply to your requests and send you the quotations you ask for: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To measure, with statistics cookies, how the website is used: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Providing your data is optional, but without your name and email address we cannot reply to you.

How the data is handled and for how long

The forms are not stored on this website: their content is sent by email to our sales office and kept as commercial correspondence for as long as necessary to manage your request and any following business relationship, and for the periods required by law. Web server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted.

Who receives the data

Our staff in charge of sales and administration, and the IT service provider that manages the website and its servers, appointed as data processor. The servers are located in the European Union. For statistics we use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as data processor. Google may process data in the United States: Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission on 10 July 2023. Your data is not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

Statistics: Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 in “Consent Mode”. Until you accept statistics cookies, and if you refuse them, the pages send Google only signals without cookies and without identifiers, which Google uses to estimate aggregate visit figures. If you accept, Google Analytics also sets the cookies listed below to count visits and returning visitors. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled, and we do not combine this data with other data about you. Statistics are kept according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (14 months at most).

Cookies

• Technical, always active: rfq, set when you add a product to your quotation list; it expires when you close the browser and is deleted when you send the request. Your choice on statistics cookies is stored in your browser (cookie_consent), so we do not ask you again at every page.
• Statistics, only with your consent: _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics), which distinguish visitors and sessions; they last up to 2 years.

No advertising or profiling cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of each page: if you withdraw your consent, the statistics cookies are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@mcb.parts. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
